Croatian Beaches of the Best Quality

And on the fifth seasonal quality testing of the Adriatic sea, all the beaches in the Dubrovnik-Neretva county complied with the requirements of the Regulation on sea bathing water quality, according to the county Department of Environmental Protection and Nature.

Of the 110 beaches in the county, the 104 were rated with excellent quality. The good quality of the bathing water was found on the beaches of Mali Zaton, Polače on the island of Mljet, Kobaš in Ston and Viganj near Orebić. Satisfactory quality was determined on the beaches on the island of Mljet Okuklje and on the beach VK Cavtat.
