Island hop on Croatia's stunning Dalmatian Coast

Hop aboard the MS Mendula, a beautiful private yacht, for a week of island-hopping off Croatia's stunning Dalmatian Coast. Carrying just a maximum 31 passengers, the Mendula is small enough to slip into picturesque harbours and idyllic hidden coves, and is the perfect home-from-home from which to visit the ancient cities of Dubrovnik and Split.
Sail the blue waters of the Adriatic along the shores of the breathtaking Elaphite Islands – past tiny Kolocep, and neighbouring Lopud, former watering hole of Dubrovnik's nobility. Visit the island of Mljet to stroll the hills of the National Park that surround two sparkling salt-water lakes. Wander the old town of Split and the palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian and browse the colourful marketplace. Walk through the walled island-town of Trogir and discover a time-warped jumble of palaces, ancient churches, and hidden courtyards. Step ashore on the beautiful island of Korcula, the legendary birthplace of Marco Polo to discover the island's ancient main town, where the narrow streets and restored stone buildings are sure to enchant. The trip includes breakfast each day, five lunches and two evening meals, including a Captain's dinner plus return flights to Dubrovnik, return airport-to-ship transfers and one piece of hold luggage per person.

Incredible Places: Dubrovnik, Croatia

"Those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik." These were the words of playwright George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950), who also gave the Croatian coastal city the nickname "Pearl of the Adriatic," according to UN Special. Looking through the picture under, it is not hard to understand why Shaw would give the city such a rave review.
